Setup Assistant
Ensure that your computer is connected to a power outlet during this process. You must also be connected to WiFi. Please ensure your WiFi connection is active at this screen, as you won’t be able to proceed with the setup otherwise.
Follow the set-up screens (Choosing your Region/Language/Network) until you reach the Remote Management Screen:

Once you click continue, you’ll be prompted for your username and the temporary password you received in person or from the email titled “Your Hireology Login Credentials.”
Please follow all prompts to complete your account setup, set up MFA (either Okta Verify or TOTP), and create a new password. The password you choose will also be used for your computer and Okta login. Okta is our main login tool for accessing most tools at Hireology, and we require a strong password and regular MFA authentication to ensure secure access.
Following this, the Setup Assistant will guide you through several additional steps. We recommend setting up Touch ID, which can also serve as an MFA solution later on. IT will cover this shortly.
macOS desktop:
Once you’re at your desktop, open Chrome from the Dock, and sign into your Okta dashboard at hireology.okta.com using the credentials you created during the setup process.
Click the Calendar tile titled “Google - Hireology Calendar” to access your calendar. You’ll see a list of meetings for your first day, including an event titled “New Hire Onboarding: IT Onboarding.” Join the Zoom meeting linked there. You will need to sign into Zoom for the first time using Okta. Someone from IT will be waiting to guide you through the rest of the process and answer any questions you have.
